Theological

  • Theological consultation – have a nagging question or even a concern with the direction you are leading your church? I am happy to sit down with you and help you process the theological implications of your situation. Rather than focusing on right/wrong dogmatic answers, I am interested in helping you discover language that works for you from your own tradition or spiritual formation.
  • Workshop – interested in having customized training for your congregation or community? Frank has experience preparing and delivering hands-on workshops on a variety of theological topics including the language of spirituality, the role of Scripture, and the development of worship/liturgy.
  • Theological review – written a book and you want to make sure your theology is consistent? Have a song that you would like to introduce into the broader church context? I am happy to work through the theological landscape of your artistic and informational content.
  • Lectures on a variety of theological topics.

Having written my first book, I wanted to ensure my interpretations of Scripture were accurate and my theology consistent. Frank saved my manuscript. He drafted a detailed review outlining the strengths of the book as well as the ways in which it could be improved, and went through the manuscript page by page, flagging problematic ideas, phrases, and words and making recommendations for edits, all the while keeping my target audience in mind. He pointed out contradictions in my writing that I wasn’t aware of. He also vetted suggestions I received from beta readers that I was unsure about implementing. Frank was always willing to clarify his comments and answer any subsequent questions I might have. The process allowed me to refine my views and express my ideas more plainly for my readers. I feel worlds more confident publishing my book now than I did before hiring Frank. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable, but humble and patient as well, and his critiques are always tempered with sincere encouragement. He loves what he does and it shows. Working with him was an absolute pleasure.
